This engagement is particularly visible in Sudan and South Sudan – and represents an important change in China’s “non-interference” policy. Join U.S. Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan Ambassador Donald Booth to discuss the synergies, challenges, and successes of US-China cooperation in this troubled region. A light lunch will be served at 11:45. Ambassador Donald Booth Ambassador Donald Booth is the U.S. Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan. Previously, he served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Ethiopia and Ambassador to Zambia and Liberia. Ambassador Booth holds a bachelor's degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, a master's degree in Business Administration from Boston University and a master's degree in National Security Studies from the National War College.
