Wild Aloha Foundation presents our 2nd Annual "Winos for Rhinos" Thursday, Sept 26th | 5:30PM | The Pig and the Lady Please join us for an evening of food, wine, and prizes to help raise money for the rhinos! Enjoy a fabulous Pig & the Lady spread of pupus, dinner, and dessert. Complementary drinks will be available while supplies last. Tickets are until September 12, then go up to 0. This event sold out last year, so be sure to buy your tickets early! Who we're raising money for: This year, we've partnered with Council of Contributors to raise money for Limpopo Rhino Conservation. LRC is a group of individual rhino owners in the Limpopo region of South Africa. As a smaller group, these owners have banded together to protect rhinos on their various properties. They do not receive the governmental and international support that other organizations do, every dollar goes a long way! We are specifically raising funds to help their Anti Poaching Units (APUs), with a particular emphasis on their helicopter surveillance. 100% of the profits raised are going directly to LRC. Wild Aloha Foundation pays no salaries and our administrative fees are almost non-existent — all the money we raise is to help those in need. Similarly, no one at LRC is reviving a salary, and the money they raise goes directly to protecting their animals.
