Denmark's leading international house music night proudly presents Mihai Popoviciu, one of the World's finest tech house artists right now, that's What Happens.
Mihai Popoviciu from Sibiu in Romania is considered one of the most innovative eastern European producers of electronic music. He started producing music in 2001 but it took years of experiments untill he came up with his first vinyl release on DJ Hell’s imprint Gigolo Records in 2005. Since then he has steadily added chapters to his personal success story with releases on Highgrade, Poker Flat, Dessous, Bondage Music, 8Bit and Diynamic etc. It’s not a big surprise that Mihai's reputation as a DJ grew fast in the past years taking him to the world's most important clubs and venues including Panorama Bar, Watergate, Fabric, D-Edge, DC10 and Space. Support comes from Copenhagen's house icon Tim Andresen. He is the label owner of What Happens and co-owner of the UK-based Savoir Faire Musique. His production portfolio also includes releases on Re:FreshYourMind, Natural Rhythm, Soulman Music Ready Mix Records, UM Records and earlier stuff on Toolroom, Azuli and Southern Fried.
Red Box is hosted by Steffen H, Zinkernagel and Lyne, while Lil Sway, Düring and Crizzy play the official preparty in White Box. As always, The Golden Hour is on from 11pm till midnight with unlimited free Tuborg Gold included in the entry so please come early. Big night expected!
