A Nevada man has been arrested on suspicion of shooting at a vehicle in a Safeway parking lot in Midtown last week, in a bizarre case where the victim fled and has yet to be located by police, Palo Alto police announced Thursday. Christian David Poppe, 37, of Henderson, Nevada, was arrested in connection with an Aug. 3, 2018 shooting in a Safeway parking lot in the Midtown area of Palo Alto.
