Weather washout as more rain falls in one day than all of July:

Dedicated Brits braved beaches yesterday despite the wash out weather which saw more rain fall in one day than the WHOLE of July. More rain fell in parts of the UK in the 24 hours before midday yesterday than the entire of the previous four weeks, across much of southern England.
