500 Businesses – 1 Night of Celebration After 10 years of serving businesses in the community, WDB Marketing is excited to announce 10 successful years in business by hosting our 1st Annual Anniversary Gala and L.E.G.A.C.Y. Awards. The event will be hosted on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Harold Washington Cultural Center. We are connecting our network of clients and fellow business owners together in one room, for a night of businesses connections, growth and celebration. The theme for this year is “Celebrating Small Business Success”. Our goal is to attract 500 of the Top Businesses, Entrepreneurs, and community leaders in Chicago for one night of networking. The event will include a digital networking component powered by Konveau app, allowing guests to get the most out of their networking experience. Food will be catered by WDB’s top restaurant clientele. A ‘Book of Business’ will be given to each guest featuring business insights and a business directory from leading businesses in Chicago. The evening will conclude with a special awards presentation saluting L.E.G.A.C.Y. (Leadership – Education – Growth – Achievement – Community – Youth). We will acknowledge five business owners and community leaders that we feel embody the essence of Building L.E.G.A.C.Y. in our community. Honorees include Emile Cambry (Blue 1647) and Phillip Jackson (The Black Star Project). The final award will be presented to a young entrepreneur and will include ,000 in funds, accounting, marketing and consulting services to help further their business success.
