As a Marine Corps Veteran of Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm as well as Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, Will and a team of fellow warriors stood on the roof of Africa on Veteran’s Day to raise awareness around issues that plague our Veterans. This Veteran’s Day, Will is asking for the support of the Crossfit community. He has designed a fundraising WOD to be done on this day, commemorating the sacrifices made for our great country by its service men and women. All proceeds raised will support Will’s climb and his mission to lead Veterans into the healing hands of Mother Nature. Crossfit members can donate individually and be entered into the win-a-trip drawing. Alternatively, Crossfit boxes can pool their donations and then receive the appropriate number of entries into the drawing. If their box is pulled as a winner, then they can then either give the trip to a deserving member or do a drawing in their box among the members who donated. Either way, everyone has a chance to win-a-trip, while also supporting this great cause!
