Tropical Disco Hustle London – a Africa interest event taking place on 2017-12-09 23:00:00 in United Kingdom
Line-up /
The Tropical Disco Hustle
Once again, London has proved to be our favourite city to run The Tropical Disco Hustle! A massive thank you goes out to all the dancers who stayed with us from 11 right through until 4, it was very humbling!
Off the success of our past 3 sell out events we're very happy to anounce that we'll now be running at The Yard every other month until we embark on a European festival tour in summer 2018!
For our December event we'll be keeping the music policy open, playing tropical heaters from The Carribean, Brazil and West Africa to keep out the cold, however given the recent devistation by hurricane Irma which displaced 67% of the population in Dominica we'll be donating a portion of the door to the relief efforts.

Who are we?
Named after Cultures Of Soul’s defining album ‘Tropical Disco Hustle’, we aim to celebrate, not appropriate the immense talent and music that came out of the Caribbean, South America and the African continent during the late 70’s and early 80’s.
With such a rich and diverse crate to dig from our resident DJs will be selecting the finest dance floor grooves for us to party to, and in the run up to the night we’ll be posting mixes, albums, artwork and stories to help paint a picture of why this movement should be celebrated!
We like to keep things friendly so post your names on the wall to be added to the guest list for free entry before 11:30 and £5 before midnight.
