Towards a Culture of Wellness & Reablement – Batemans Bay

Towards a Culture of Wellness & Reablement – Batemans Bay – a Culture interest event taking place on 2017-11-29 09:30:00 in Australia

A forum for CHSP & HCP providers, RAS, ACAT, government staff and allied health professionals, carers and volunteers. What is Wellness & Reablement? What are the new Service Provider requirements for Wellness & Reablement? How do we know if we are practicing Wellness & Reablement? What’s happening across Australia and overseas? What does best practice look like? How do we build a collaborative culture of Wellness & Reablement? If you would like answers to any of these questions, then this is the forum for you! Keynote Presenter & Facilitator: Ricki Smith – CEO Access Care Network Australia As CEO of Access Care Network Australia, Dr Ricki Smith believes that independent assessment with a strong focus on reablement not only results in better outcomes for clients, it also benefits funders. She has invested significant resources into testing and evaluating different assessment methodologies; resulting in an active assessment model incorporating reablement strategies that is now standard practice for all Home and Community Care clients in Western Australia. A Churchill Fellowship recipient, Ricki recently undertook a study tour of reablement policy and practice in New Zealand, London, Wales and Denmark. Her professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Business, Masters of Business Administration and a Doctor of Business Administration. Morning tea and lunch will be provided. CAN’T MAKE IT?
