Selecting a wedding venue is often the first and biggest decision a newly engaged couple has to make. Exquisite scenery, an inviting climate, great service, and affordability are all major deciding factors, making the KZN South Coast a top wedding destination.
“From our Blue Flag beaches and coastal forests to the sprawling farmlands and majestic gorges, the KZN South Coast has a setting for every bridal couple,” noted Deborah Ludick Acting CEO of South Coast Tourism & Investment Enterprise (SCTIE). “We’re also fortunate to have top-tier wedding venues from the coast to the hinterland, providing wedding parties with fully-equipped spaces for ceremonies and receptions, top-class service, and fantastic accommodation.”
KZN South Coast’s wedding venues
The KZN South Coast boasts a year-round subtropical climate which means that outdoor weddings are possible, no matter the season. Boasting the highest number of Blue Flag beaches in the province, seaside weddings are a big attraction, with many venues offering access or views of the stunning Indian Ocean. Heading inland, the KZN South Coast continues to astound with exquisite farmlands, coastal forests, nature reserves, as well as the breathtaking views of Umtamvuna and Oribi gorges.
