The #WhatTheFanta long-awaited mystery flavour is revealed after an exciting interactive campaign.
ANNOUNCEMENT: JOHANNESBURG – 6 January 2023. The #WhattheFanta® much-anticipated mystery flavour that has kept the general public guessing for months has finally been revealed! South Africa welcomed the #WhatTheFanta global campaign in August, much to the delight of curious consumers. The centerpiece of this interactive flavour-guessing campaign was a limited-edition, mysteriously flavoured Fanta® soft drink designed to challenge consumers’ senses and taste buds with contrasting flavour notes.
After a rigorous online experience of clue cracking and flavour guessing, the mystery limited-edition flavour has finally been announced.
INTRODUCING THE LIMITED-EDITION FANTA® RASPBERRY AND LITCHI FLAVOURED SOFT DRINK
Late last month, the eagerly awaited flavour was announced on the Fanta® South Africa social media platforms with the help of the brand squad, made up of popular social media content creators @Alphi_Sipho, @BotlhaleBoikanyo, @Iam_khanyi95 (Khanyisa Patricia), @Mooya.Musunga and @Moghelingz (Banele Ndaba).
Following the competition to guess the flavour correctly, the lucky winners who correctly identified the fruity blue bottle as Raspberry and Litchi, cracking the #WhatTheFanta mystery walked away with some of the below fantastic prizes:
Nintendo Limited Edition Switch consoles.
Instax packs consisting of 1 x mini 11 camera, 1 x mini 11 camera case, 1 x camera strap, 1 x Instax mini film, 2 x AA batteries, 1 x jewel shutter button accessory, 1 x glow shutter button accessory and 1 x Instruction manual; and a snack pack.
Pictionary Air games and a snack pack.
