    Spell Check, July 25, 2014

This review is from: Decorbox Cotton Linen Square Throw Pillow Case Decorative Cushion Cover Pillowcase Owl Sayings 45″ * 45″
The pillowcase was cute and I would have been happy to use it had the words been spelled correctly. I contacted the seller for a replacement and was exhausted after five email exchanges with a person who simply did not understand me. They initially responded to “the words are misspelled” with “be patient, it will be there soon”. The other exchanges were to tell me that the quality of the pillow was good and that not all pillows are alike. I explained that having the words spelled wrong does not equal good quality. They said they would issue a return for half of the money.

I bought as a gift for my daughter, but the quote was misspelled it says Matues instead of Matters as pictured, the owl is not the same as the one pictured, and the Author of the quote is not on the pillow. It seems nice as far as material is concerned, and I am going to try to paint over the spelling error and fix it for my daughter, but for that effort I could have painted it myself onto a blank pillow case.

I bought the “Oil” (owl? Maybe this should have been a red flag for me) pillow case as a gift. The construction quality seems fine. The graphic of the owl is similar, but not the same as pictured, it doesn’t have the pink coloration on the owl’s stomach. No big deal. The quote, however is misspelled and does not show the author of the quote as pictured. The misspelling is bad enough that I can’t give it as a present, it makes no sense. The product I received is NOT the product I purchased. Haven’t yet tried a return/refund, but from other reviewers here, I doubt I’ll have much luck.
