It will feature the guest ensemble Palma Choralis (Brescia, Italy) performing music by composers Bartolomeo Barbarino, Lodovico Bellanda, Giovanni Battista Camarella, Bellerofonte Castaldi, Antonio Cifra, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Simone Molinaro, Claudio Monteverdi & Francesco Vignali, set to the poetry of Torquato Tasso.
Another concert of music set to Tasso's poetry will be streamed at a later date TBA, by guest ensemble Les Canards Chantants.

The Department of Music and Dance presents the second of two concerts as part of the Tasso and Music Symposium and Concerts. This concert features musical settings of 16th century poet Torquato Tasso's poetry, performed by the guest ensemble Palma Choralis from Brescia, Italy.
