Summer School Assignment: Picture This!
While most kids spent their final weeks of summer vacation at the beach or at camp, students from Sacred Heart School’s summer program in Atheron, Calif., like those seen here, were busy making illustrations for storybooks. Reproductions of the illustrations will be used in Save the Children’s storybooks. The two-week illustration workshop, a pilot project of Save the Children, was sponsored by the Bay Area Tutorpedia Foundation. Photo Credit: Elliott Friedlander
