  3. I personally think the song is WAY better with The Jon. Hatchy’s voice is
too high, and it sorta clashes with the others now. ?

  5. This band’s vocals and songs make me feel so safe and at home. It’s a rough
time in my life- and will be for the next two months while my love is away
at basic military training. He introduced me to SPG, and ive been listening
to them nonstop ever since he left. You calm the storm inside, SPG. <3
    Thank you.?

  6. Rabbit/Bunny is truly an inspirational figure. To see a transwoman in a
group such as this, with the ability to speak to such a large fanbase
(Steampunk is growing) is wonderful. That she has the courage and strength
to go through her transition in the eye of the public, no matter how niche
that public is, is heart warming. I wish her nothing but the best in her
transition and will remember fondly the times she was in the wrong chassis
as Rabbit. I am very glad that the group has found the means to rectify the
design flaw and return her to her originally planned state. I <3
    Steampowered Giraffe.?

  10. I am not even into steampunk, and I love this band. I found them 2 years
ago while searching for the Valve website steampowered on Google. This was
one time where google autocorrecting badly did me a great service.?

  12. I actually think I might prefer the old spine makeup. It just seems
    cleaner… I’m not sure though.?

  13. Lyrics:
Ever since the first time I opened my eyes
I’ve awakened to the same thing
Other automaton friends roughly built like me
The first time I opened my mouth to speak
    steam escaped to the air
and black oil dripped from my lips
    and onto the ground
Well daylight struck a chord with my
    photo-receptors
Night greeted me with a sea of stars
Our eyes all flashed blues and greens
    through the night
    It’s just our
    Aaaaaaaaaah Automatonic
    Electronic
    Harmonics
    People are soaring, always exploring,
higher than they’ve ever been before
But we are still down here,
    feet on the ground near
what will rise us up with the rest
Our thoughts are quixotic, stark and robotic,
mechanical in nature all the time
And pulses are firing in our head wiring,
guiding all our actions and beings
    It’s just our
    Aaaaaaaaaah Automatonic
    Electronic
    Harmonics
I am not an unimaginable thing
    My thoughts are tangible
    though they’re full of springs
I don’t have the heart to send you untruthful words
My skin is cold to the touch and made from the earth
    They say
Oh, oh it’s so down, but baby it’s sound
makes your worries cease to pound
And oh, maybe it’s alright, ’cause baby it fights
for some time just to be held tight
And oh, maybe it’s not wrong, ’cause it sings a lovely song
one that drifts on for so long
And oh, baby let’s not lie, it’s eyes are alive
and pointed up shining light to the sky
    It’s just our
    Aaaaaaaaaah Automatonic
    Electronic
    Harmonics
    Epic and so cool
    Epic and so cool
    Epic and so cool
    Epic and so cool
    Aaaaaaaaaah Automatonic
    Electronic
    Harmonics
    Aaaaaaaaaah Automatonic
    Electronic
    Harmonics?

  14. Judging by the curly-haired member, I’m assuming this was before Hatchworth
    joined the group?

  15. It’s so weird to see these without Spine’s new makeup.

    And with male Rabs.

    And with Jon.

Basically the whole thing really. ?

  16. I wish I had discovered them earlier with spine, rabbit, and the Jon
because these three are the best !!?

  18. This band is causing me problems… I’m trying to paint with watercolor and
I keep getting distracted by their music videos so the water keeps drying
and messing me up! Ugghhh… They’re just too great.?

  23. And now that I’ve posted on Facebook about Taylor Swift, and my feed is
blowing up with posts about her and her music (thanks Facebook feed
filters), it’s time to purge her from my head. ?
