A nice Camps Bay Beach image:
Spit Fire

We camped two nights on the Homer spit. The second night we went and scavenged drift wood from further up the spit for a fire. Here are the last couple of pieces that we found. We managed to get this large stump into my van and we found this piece of plywood lingering in the grass. The fire eventually climbed up the stump and overtook the plywood.
The camp beyond us was comprised of about 5 Spit Rats. They were for some reason in the process of moving. They ended up burning many things they didn’t need like shirts, socks, and hangers. They ended up moving but left a lot of their belongings back at this camp. All in all it was confusing, but I didn’t mind as they seemed to be laid back guys.
