South African-born, New Zealand-raised artist Andréa Lisa is making waves with her powerful new single “Like Each Other”, taken from her recently released album ‘Silver Lining’.
A heartfelt meditation on empathy and shared humanity, “Like Each Other” highlights Andréa’s gift for transforming her life experiences into songs that connect on a universal level. With her rich tone, soulful vocals, and layered instrumental arrangements, the track embodies her mission to uplift, heal, and inspire through music.
“This song is about recognising our similarities rather than our differences,” Andréa shares. “Music has an incredible way of reminding us that at our core, we’re all connected.”
The single is just one of the standouts from Silver Lining—a genre-blending body of work fusing soulful R&B with touches of jazz, funk, and rhythmic grooves. The album unfolds like a melodic diary, charting Andréa’s journey of resilience, growth, and hope. Already garnering acclaim, it features the evocative “Tribe” (a tribute to her African heritage featuring legendary bassist Melvin Lee Davis) and the Billboard-charting “Vortex”, which hit #1 on Sirius XM’s Watercolors in September 2023.
No stranger to collaboration, Andréa Lisa has worked with Jonathan Butler, Ralph Johnson (Earth, Wind & Fire), George ‘Funky’ Brown, and lent her guitar skills to Kool & the Gang’s latest album. She has also featured on Grammy award-winning Kirk Whalum’s Humanité and joined the prestigious D’Angelico guitar family as a brand ambassador.
With Silver Lining now available worldwide on all major streaming platforms, and “Like Each Other” fast becoming a fan favourite, Andréa Lisa continues to cement her place as one of today’s most soulful and inspiring voices in contemporary music.
