Actor, television host/personality, and Grammy-award-winning jazz and pop singer Jack Jones (b. January 14, 1938), son of legendary singer Allan Jones and film and TV actress Irene Hervey, made a guest appearance on the popular American game show "What’s My Line?". This episode aired on June 4, 1967.

Jones is seen here with the show’s host, John Daly (February 20, 1914 – February 24, 1991). Daly, born in Johannesburg, South Africa, was also a journalist and radio personality; he served as host and moderator on the panel show during its 17-year run from 1950 through 1967. Daly missed hosting "What’s My Line?" for only four shows.

For many people of this generation, the handsome Jones is likely best known for singing the opening theme for the TV series, "The Love Boat" from 1977 through 1985, and also made several guest appearances on the show, including one with his father, Allan. He also promoted the Chrysler New Yorker automobile in the mid-1970s with the "It’s the talk of the town" ad campaign. He is also well known for some of his recordings, including "Wives and Lovers" (1964 Grammy Award, Best Pop Male Performance), "The Race Is On", "Lollipops and Roses" (1962, Grammy Award, Best Pop Male Performance), "The Impossible Dream (The Quest)," "Call Me Irresponsible," and "Lady."

At the age of 65, Jones still possessed outstanding vocal control and range, and performed in 2004 to a full audience in the Los Angeles area. According to IMDb, he borrowed a gimmick from singer Natalie Cole by performing a duet of "What I Did for Love" alongside his late father, Allan Jones (he had passed away in 1992), who "appeared" with his son in a videotaped performance of the song.
