ShelterZoom Corp, a leader in blockchain-based document security, has announced a significant upgrade to its flagship platform, Document GPS. The release coincides with the company being named the winner of a prestigious Best Practices Enabling Technology Leadership Recognition in the North American healthcare cybersecurity industry by a top analyst firm.
The latest update to Document GPS introduces a suite of advanced features designed to fortify data protection, streamline enterprise monitoring, and enhance productivity for organizations handling sensitive information.
1-Click Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
A centerpiece of this release is the introduction of 1-click Data Loss Prevention (DLP) directly within the user’s inbox. Powered by advanced cryptography, this feature allows organizations to automatically scan outgoing files for sensitive information before they leave the network. By addressing internal data leaks—one of the most significant threats to modern enterprises—Document GPS provides an intuitive, email-native solution to maintain strict data integrity.
Enhanced Enterprise Control and Visibility
For administrators, the update provides unprecedented oversight through an expanded Admin Panel. New capabilities include:
-
Chain-of-Custody Tracking: Visibility into nearly 40 different event types, including incoming files.
-
Quarantine Control: Admins can now instantly quarantine files if suspicious behavior is detected, preventing potential breaches in real-time.
-
Downstream Visibility: The tracking log has been enhanced to capture events occurring after a file has been sent, providing a complete map of how documents are handled by external recipients.
Flexibility in Workflow and Productivity
Recognizing the need for agile business processes, ShelterZoom has also upgraded its eSignature and scheduling capabilities. Senders can now add signers or insert new fields into an agreement even after it has been sent, eliminating the need to restart complex workflows. Additionally, the platform now supports Scheduled Send, allowing users to attach secured Document GPS files to emails set for future delivery.
“Spare Tire” and Industry Momentum
Beyond Document GPS, ShelterZoom reports a surge in interest for Spare Tire, its innovative solution designed to eliminate Electronic Health Record (EHR) downtime.
ShelterZoom leadership, including CEO Chao Cheng-Shorland, recently addressed the growing importance of “resilience layers” in healthcare IT during interviews with CTO Magazine and the Tech Talks podcast. These discussions highlighted the company’s commitment to building future-proof platforms that ensure continuity of care even during system failures.
With these latest updates and industry accolades, ShelterZoom continues to cement its position as a primary architect of the “fortified digital presence” for the healthcare sector and beyond.
