Shamanism, Spirituality and Healing – a Africa interest event taking place on 2019-06-01 18:00:00 in United States
Roger is returning to Terra Sol Sanctuary with this highly popular offering of shamanic practices and traditions. Come and join for an evening of exploration into nature-focused spirituality and healing traditions found within indigenous cultures from around the world. This is an interactive workshop on the practice of shamanism, including similarities found in many cultures and traditions, and the evolving role of the shaman in modern society. We will explore topics such as the origins of shamanism, the cross- cultural uniqueness of the shamanic experience and nature centered spirituality and healing. This workshop will be a combination of discussion and experiential practice, as participants are guided into an altered state, called shamanic consciousness, and connected with their own personal shamanic body. Each participant will be taught how to “travel” called journey within their shamanic body, where communication with spirit guides and connection with ancestral wisdom may be realized. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a pillow/blanket or yoga mat for the journey part of the workshop. Roger is an internationally recognized shaman, healer and ritualist with over 25 years of experience devoted to nature centric spirituality, sacred ceremony, and a variety of esoteric, mystical and magickal traditions. In person, Roger creates a very tangible, magickal and undeniable sense of Oneness with those present during his sacred ceremonies; and from podcasts, to his online Skype and FaceTime sessions and offerings, he has shared his teachings, healing and guidance with people from all walks of life, and numerous countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, UK, South Africa, Kenya, Brazil, Mexico, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Norway, France, Spain, Columbia and others.
