Rusthall Djembe Drumming Workshops – a Africa interest event taking place on 2017-12-08 19:00:00 in United Kingdom
Come along and learn the mesmerising rhythms of Africa! Taking rhythms from Ghana, Guinea, Sengal and beyond, these workshops are perfect for anyone looking to try out djembe drumming and/or brush up on skills. Mostly, it is the perfect chance to meet new friends and make music in an informal setting! Tickets are not free, but payable on the door – £10 including djembe hire, £7.50 without, but please use this page to let us know you are attending. **Please note the session on October 13th is an open rehearsal for djembe group members and won't be led by Cheryl. As a result only a small donation will need to be made to cover expenses for the hall, but this will be led by members of Rusthall Djembe Drumming Group. Limited drum hire will be available.** FAQs Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Anyone over the age of 8 is welcome. Under 16's must be accompanied by a parent for the duration of the workshop. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? There is limited partking at Sunnyside Hall itself, otherwise the main road outside is suitable, just please be respectful to local residents. Do I need to bring my own djembe? Drums are provided on request – we just ask for a slightly higher fee in case of accidental damage. Where can I contact the organiser with any questions? Contact Cheryl at cheryl_blake@hotmail.com
