The RUN YOUR CITY (RYC) Series is excited to launch four bi-weekly 5K WARM UP RUNS that will be powered by PUMA NITRO and will be hosted in Joburg, Durban and Cape Town in the build up to one of SA’s largest Heritage Day celebrations, the JOBURG 10K CITYRUN Virtual Edition!
“We are excited to invite runners from all over South Africa to unite in the spirit of camaraderie, pride and celebration,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the RUN YOUR CITY Series. “The RYC WARM UP RUNS powered by PUMA NITRO will give runners the opportunity to interact with likeminded individuals while getting outdoors and keeping fit. Remember the JOBURG 10K CITYRUN Virtual Edition is just around the corner. Why not use the 5K WARM UP RUNS to measure your fitness or even challenge your friends to a 5km sprint? To add to the excitement, runners will also be able to #WearTest a pair of PUMA NITRO running shoes. Get ready to #RUNPUMA and #SparkChange.”
“Change doesn’t come easy, so PUMA builds products and technologies that create an effortless run,” says PUMA South Africa Marketing Director Brett Bellinger. “We are excited to provide the spark for a new generation of runners that are continuously pushing for something greater and sparking change. We can’t wait to see runners putting the PUMA NITRO Range to the test at the RYC WARM UP RUNS powered by PUMA NITRO. Our technical team will be on hand at each WARM UP RUN to answer questions and offer support.”
