A Fresh Take on History's Biggest Event Politically, historically, spiritually . . . why is this story still so important? “Risen” is the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection of Christ Jesus, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Clavius (Joseph Fiennes), a powerful Roman military tribune, and his aide, Lucius (Tom Felton), are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem. The Greatest Manhunt in History High-ranking Roman military officer Clavius is on the detective assignment of all time: to disprove news of Jesus’ resurrection. RISEN filmmakers cast the story of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection from a skeptic’s point of view, and the result is an exciting and fresh take on one of the world’s most-known stories. Uncover the mystery… Featured Actors: Joseph Fiennes (SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE), Tom Felton (HARRY POTTER), Peter Firth (PEARL HARBOR), Cliff Curtis (Fear of the Walking Dead) Director: Kevin Reynolds Producers: Mickey Liddell, Patrick Aiello, Pete Shilaimon Running Time: 108 min Genre: Drama
