The sea is generally cold in the Cape area. Even Port Elizabeth was only 19C in the sea when we got back there. Here in beautiful Nature’s Valley, NE of Plettenberg, there’s a river/lake with a sea exit. The sea was surging in when we got there but soon abated as the tide went down and it did feel rather less cold. 21C?
