Police: Couple charged after Chihuahua tortured, starved & shot:
A Tennessee couple is facing animal cruelty charges after police say the wife shot the couple's Chihuahua and left it in a trash bag to die. Police also said couple tortured the dog and failed to provide her with food, water, care and shelter.
‘Weird for Wanbol’: Lawmakers reject Sotto’s ‘hybrid’ constitutional body:
Opposition lawmakers on Friday chided the proposal of Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III for a “hybrid” constitutional body that will amend the 1987 Charter. Caloocan Rep. Edgar Erice even ridiculed Sotto, dismissing the proposal as “too weird” even for someone from “Wanbol University,” the name of the fictional school where Sotto's TV role studied in the 80's series “Iskul Bukol.”
