Penjing: Balance Between Beauty and Nature – a Beauty interest event taking place on 2019-06-15 10:00:00 in United States
Join Lan Su’s horticulture team as they celebrate the art of penjing or “traditional tray landscapes” with a display from June 15 – 26, 2019.
Penjing is the ancient living art of depicting artistically formed trees, other plants, and landscapes in miniature. Originating in China, penjing literally means “tray scenery.” Artistic interpretations of carefully pruned trees in composition with stones convey personal expression and emotions. Plants, soil and stone depict a complete picture of a landscape or a landscape with water.
