Mt Robert across Lake Rotoiti
Who decides to walk/climb 5kms from Kerr Bay DOC Camp to the Parachute Rocks, high above Lake Rotoiti (Nelson Lakes) on the St Arnaud Range when you can’t see the Rocks because of a thick layer of cloud……which means the lake won’t be visible either! Luckily the cloud lifted just a little as I arrived which was just as well, a reward for all the hard work climbing!
