This product has the screen touch sensitivity issues noted in several previous write-ups. The remanuf’d term is deceptive and/or a lie. Don’t waste your money on this unit. You may have better luck if you buy the product new rather than remanufactured. I’ve used OtterBox Defender cases in my iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5S and now this one (6+) and only this one has been a real lemon. I literally have to hit the screen with my finger in order for it to recognize my selection. After a while my finger hurts.

DO NOT BUY THIS!! This is what happened when my brand new iPhone fell from my waist-high pocket to a plush area rug. I don’t have insurance (I thought this would “defend” my phone) so I’m out the money from both purchases. Please pass on the word, as I am very actively doing, that this WILL NOT PROTECT YOUR PHONE!!

DON’T ORDER FROM A4C…. IT ISN’T OTTERBOX YOU’RE ORDERING FROM. A4C HAS NOT BEEN HELPFUL!, December 6, 2015

I don’t so much hate the product, but I am THOROUGHLY annoyed with the company (A4C) that these are being sold through. First, I did not realize that this otter box was refurbished, which is totally my fault. Honestly, if I knew it was refurbished I probably wouldn’t have bought it. There isn’t anything wrong with refurbished items, but I have had bad luck with them so I try my best to stay away from them if I can. Anyone who has ever bought an otter box knows they are not cheap, and I paid a price for a refurbished otter box when I thought it was new.. If it is refurbished, why is the price still the same? I’m sorry, but there should definitely be a difference. Anyways, thats besides the point. Upon receiving the case, I was so excited! I went to put it on, and it just wouldn’t snap in all the way. I kind of messed with it, and eventually felt that I got it. But once it was one, oh my, it was NOT coming off. I put the rubber part around it and thought I was good to go!…. I was wrong. As I went to type on my phone, my screen wouldn’t recognize the touch, because there was such a space between the screen protector part and the actual screen. Mind you, this thing took me forever to put on, and now my phone was VERY snug inside this case…. Why should there be a space between the case and the phone? It made no sense. So of course, I realized it was defective. Thats okay, everybody makes mistakes! It must have been put back together wrong. So I’m holding it and realizing how HUGE this case makes my phone.. And I’m highly annoyed with the amount of pressure I have to add in order for my phone to pick up the touch sensory thing. I hated it. It was not what I wanted and on top of that, it was broken before I even got it. Inside of the package I got was a card with contact information for the customer service reps. So I emailed that very night explaining my situation. I got a response the next day, requesting my order number. I gave the order number…. Then it takes them 3 days to get back to me saying that they can’t find that order. WHAT? I literally copy and pasted the order number, you should definitely have it in your system. I JUST got this case. It is a very fresh order. It’s not like it happened months ago. So then I give them my invoice, and they tell me to contact Amazon.. I screenshot my invoice and then send it.. I did not want to call Amazon. This is something they should figure out. So after I send the invoice, which to my assumption was JUST TO VERIFY THAT I ACTUALLY ORDERED FROM THEM, I get ANOTHER email with a confirmation that my replacement is being sent and a printed label to send back the one I have. Hmmmm… Did it ever cross their mind that I didn’t want that?! I should have most DEFINITELY been asked for permission to send something to my home. On top of that, I did not want a replacement. If they would have spent the time to talk to me, they would have realized that. I wanted to send THIS one back and get a refund. So NOW, I have to go to UPS and mail TWO phone cases back because a customer service representative can’t spend the time to figure out a customer’s wants/needs. RIDICULOUS. SO mad.
