Perfect for travelers who wants an instant connection between their Nikon and iPhone/iPad,
This is the perfect item for those who travel a lot with their Nikon DSLR cameras. It allows you to easily transfer pictures from the camera straight to your iPhone. You don’t need to buy those wireless SD cards. Just use this.
Also, it turns your iPhone into a shutter remote. This adaptor comes with a small strap so it can hang by your camera for instant access.
It works with just about any model. Mine was the Nikon D3300. You have to download an additional free WMU app from the Apple App Store. You plug it into your Nikon (for me it goes on the top of the bottom left slot). You turn on your Nikon and it will create its own Wifi access point. Go back to your iPhone settings and connect to this.
Then open the app and you can rename your access point and put a password so that only you can access the photos / take pictures. The rest is easy to figure out once you set up.
One downside, 15% of the time it may disconnect from your phone and you will have to reconnect. But this is a minor inconvenience compared to the extreme usefulness it brings.
This is a must have for all Nikon owners.
