All I can say is, that if the pain ofthat sting was in any proportion to the horriblescream given vent to by that nigger, then thepain was a very large one. However, thisreminds me that we are here to see the Falls,not to catch hornets. As most of the morning had been taken upwith our flitting, we only had time justbefore lunch to walk down to the railwaybridge, and make ourselves a trifle giddyby looking over at the whirlpool, 420 feetbelow ; then in the afternoon we lost notime in getting back to see as much aswe could before dark.
