Nice Franschoek Motor Museum photo

Check out this Miss South Africa image:

Franschoek Motor Museum
Miss South Africa

Certainly the best motor museum that I have ever visited, and possibly one of the best, if not the best, in the world in my opinion. Tucked away in the small town of Franschhoek in the Western Cape Province of South Africa this is a rare gem that should not be missed by motoring enthusiasts and non enthusiasts alike. The museum is less than 10 years old and houses a stunning collection of over 300 cars. What strikes you initially is the condition of these vehicles. They are all highly polished and in tip top condition, something that you don’t often see in museum collections. Almost two thirds of the collection are still in running condition and are maintained by 5 full time motor mechanics. The runners are taken out for a drive once a month on a day when the museum is closed. This museum is a must see for anyone in Cape Town and its surrounds.
