Situated along the road to Buffels Bay near Knysna is this decaying building that used to be a backpackers lodge. Seemingly it is owned by the municipality and was closed for some reason and left to decay.
This is quite sad as it’s in a beautiful spot, right on the beach. From photos I’ve found of it in its heyday, it must have been a lovely, fun place for young travellers to stay.
