PORTLAND CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC LAUNCHES NEW HORIZONS ADULT CONCERT BAND
“It’s never too late” is a cliché that is coming to life right here at PCM!!
This new program provides an entry point to instrumental music making for adults, including those with no musical experience at all and those who were active in school music programs, but have been inactive for a long period.
There will be instrument specific instruction for the first hour, followed by a full band rehearsal. Participants can choose to learn clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, french horn, trombone, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, and percussion instruments. The band will have 3-4 public performances a year.
