A cool Camps Bay Beach image:
Nauru – 1st load of pics!!

Sorry for the lateness!! Had abit of tech trouble..Im sending the first load of pics and some of the actual planting tomorrow as the other camera is still on the move and we’ve to locate!!haha..
On Saturday,we put up camp on a small oval at one end of the Anibare Bay. Across the road from the oval is the beach. We started planting trees at 11.30am, it was pouring rain earlier that morning so it made things easier!! After a short briefing on 350 and a small presentation by the Coastal Dept on reef and sea issues we started our Color Me Sandy project.
We toiled on one end of the bay and finished on the other.
We had a blast and for first timers I thought we did pretty well. In truth we had to juggle between our Nauru National Angam Day celebrations and the 350 Action Day project. However we intend to do more awareness on Climate Change and Oct 24th so that come next year all communities on Nauru will include the 350 Action Day into their Angam Day celebration activities which are usually sporting events.
Note that the group photo does not include everyone!! More started coming later on.Total number of participant was 102. We’ll get better next time!!
Thanks for keeping touch and please include us in any other events that we can join in!!
Cheers
