Musical Tales: Kids' Classical Concert
Popular children's stories are charmingly paired with well-known classical music, arranged for string quartet, and narrated by KING-FM's Marta Zekan at this Seattle Chamber Music Society family concert. Works include Goodnight Moon with Debussy's Claire de Lune, Tales From the Arabian Nights with Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, Ferdinand the Bull with Copland's Rodeo, and more. Ideal for children ages 5-10 and their families, there's also a pre-concert musical instrument petting zoo in the lobby of Benaroya Hall.
