A nice Cape Town image:
Monday 28 September – Cape Town

On arriving on top of the Mountain we fortunately still had a clear view onto the Cape Town City Bowl, Lion’s Head, Signal Hill, Robben Island, Table Bay, etc. This photograph was taken sometime later when mist / cloud cover started blowing up the Cape Town-side of the Mountain, though the Peninsula side retained good visibility.
Main pathways lead along the front and back of the main ‘table top’, with loop-backs for the less fit or adventurous.
For those who are up to it you can walk many kilometres on the table-top section of the mountain alone. Beyond that pathways lead in many directions, but should only be ventured onto if you are fit and prepared for mountain hiking, weather changes, etc.
At the end of the pathway in picture is the top cableway station, while on the left the roof of the small curio shop is visible. To the left of it, out of picture, is a spacious cafeteria.
