A visitor to Table Mountain at one of the viewpoints during our visit. The mountain peak visible to the left is Lion’s Head, with Signal Hill extending from it to the right. Beyond Signal Hill lies the Cape Town suburb of Sea Point and in the distance is Robben Island where, among others, Nelson Mandela was incarcerated as political prisoner.
After descending Table Mountain we drove along Signal Hill to a lookout point and walked a short way back along the road while landmarks below were pointed out to the group.
