Man walking more than 2,000 miles to raise awareness for addiction new:
Downs said he's never done this before, but after suffering from addiction for years he said he doesn't want anyone else to go through what he did. Downs left from Panama City, Florida in February and was walking through Bedford County on Route 460 toward Lynchburg on Tuesday.
