  3. I don’t believe in gay marriage/ but I hate the term “gay”. People are free to choose who they want to be with, I don’t have to believe in it, but I respect others decisions, and don’t judge them. Last time I checked, we all live on this beautiful planet, so we might as well all learn to get along, and tolerate things we don’t necessarily? agree with.

  8. I agree, but like I said, this has? nothing to do with majority vs minority. This is a legal / constitutional issue.

  9. Harder than growing up in the system? And what about gay women. They can have a baby if they want. A gay couple that adopts will in all likelyhood provide a better home than most Americans could. The gay? couples that often seek to adopt are well educated and have good jobs. I have two uncles that have adopted two little girls and provide a wonderful home for them.

  12. whatever you want to call it. there’s a struggle on both ends of the spectrum and at the end of the day, settled in the courts. Anyone can nitpick on my comment as much as they will like. People fighting for equal rights for gays, remember this quote from Martin Luther King Jr- “Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable… Every step? toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.”

  13. I also grew up with all women, and I’m not gay, and I didn’t realize that until you said it. I know gay couples can properly care for children, but I’m still against them adopting, because the child they adopt is going to? be bullied, mocked, harassed, and abused. I would like them to adopt, and I know they can care for a child, but for that child, life is going to a hell of a lot harder.

  14. This is not a legislative issue. Civil rights are non-negotiable, and not dependent on majority rule. For example if Mississippi decided to re-instate segregation it would be struck? down as unconstitutional, even if the majority of people in Mississippi supported it.

  17. The companies don’t want to look bad so they say ” Hey, come listen to our radio station because we support gays. We make everything ok.” But if you ever see a company being any way? negative towards the gay community, it’s like almost a riot now. Google the Chick Fil A “scandal” You’re either ok with gay, or you’re the ignorant, idiot, homophobic, POS on the planet which is the same as if you turn the tables. None of it should exist, the hate.

  18. I neither vote for or against that because I honestly don’t care. If the people decide they don’t mind. That’s cool. If the people decide that it’s not, that’s fine to because it’s the majority, not the minority that choose for the people. I just don’t see why people go back and forth. Some say not to bring religion, but? then they bring religion in by saying “God loves all his children” It’s not progressive. It’s just feels like the Bible is getting nitpicked to strengthen an argument.

  22. If God really loved all his creations,? he must have loved folks like Hitler as well. God is seen like a father figure to many and just like a father, he loves his children. But does not mean he loves everything they do. Everyone should really see the true reason why the gay community has been getting a lot of support lately. Check out the reasons behind certain companies. No one wants to look homophobic now so everyone says they’re ok with gays just so they don’t look bad. /=
