THE LULA ELZY NEW ORLEANS DANCE THEATRE 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION "On With the Dance" The Lula Elzy Dance Theatre is one of the first African-American-led modern dance companies in the history of New Orleans. It has consistently fostered collaborations with some of the finest dancers, choreographers and musicians in New Orleans. The celebration of the company's 25th Anniversary also provides an occasion for the city to review its cultural gains and losses over the same period and to reflect on parts of our cultural legacy that we must sustain and advance. The program also includes special guest artist, KM Project.
