THE SHOUT COLLECTIVE PRESENT LIVE ON STAGE LONDON ZULU South African electro funk featuring members of Transglobal Underground ADAM BLAKE The unsung hero of UK blues guitar On the Decks: THE SHOUT COLLECTIVE Spinning the best selection of African, global, blues, soul and funky sounds Join us at Limehouse's atmospheric speakeasy style music bar Jamboree for a party featuring live sets from two of the UK's finest live acts and the mighty Shout Collective DJs on the decks in between times. Topping the bill are the fabulous London Zulu, the project formerly fronted by the late, great South African singer and dancer Doreen Thobekile. Doreen's daughter (and long-time vocal sparring partner) Ingrid Webster has taken her place in the spotlight to perform the songs of her mother and more. Backed by members of Transglobal Underground, she'll be singing her heart out on a set of Township soul and London funk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_F5n6OxoX9s Opening proceedings will be the unsung hero of British bottleneck blues guitar, Adam Blake. A stalwart member of Errol Linton's band, he's also performed with Cornershop and Natacha Atlas amongst many others.
