LAMBERT #1 – a Culture interest event taking place on 2021-06-19 18:00:00 in Germany
The classification of the artist and phenomenon called Lambert into a narrow genre corset becomes almost unbearable due to the aforementioned versatility. Nevertheless, the name often falls in neoclassical contexts. Possibly because his first live performances were with Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds. Lambert's harmonies also speak a distinctly different language: melodies between the Beatles and this Chopin meet rhythmic structures and rousing movements that reference modern electronic dance music. Thus, Lambert does not seem to give much thought to being placed in a pop or highly cultural context. After all, it doesn't matter, it is as superficial and deceptive as any exterior.
