Skip Aviation, an aviation training provider, was recently awarded a new contract for a training programme for aspiring young African pilots. To fulfil the theoretical, simulation and practical training requirements of the programme, it needed to establish new training centre facilities at the Rhino Park Airfield in Bronkhorstspruit. It purchased a range of prefabricated units from Kwikspace, whose prompt service ensured the buildings were ready for delivery 2 weeks before the designated delivery date.
The purchase order included: a classroom unit; an accommodation unit; an open plan unit to house their flight simulators; a gym and TV unit; an ablution block fitted with showers, basins and water closets; 3 three-room sleeper units, and office units.
The purchase order was placed at the end of July 2021 with all deliveries to Skip Aviation’s training centre premises at Rhino Park Airfield completed by the end of August
“Skip Aviation selected Kwikspace as the supplier of their new training centre buildings because of our superior quality, short lead time and on-point service, and because our solutions deliver the flexibility to move and extend our buildings at any given time,” says Gerry de Beer, Account Manager, Kwikspace.
Skip Aviation’s new Rhino Park Airfield training centre will open in 2022.
