A nice Kings Beach image:
Kings Beach Reflections

After a day of skiing in Truckee, I barely made it to shoot sunset in King’s beach, Lake Tahoe. However it wasn’t an exciting find, I didn’t had enough time to scout a good spot, and the colors were just not there. It soon came to the realization that if I am to take a keeper, I will have to improvise, and so I decided that a subject would add perspective to the frame. There were the choice between the dogs running around the beach and my roommate who had accompanied me on the Sking trip. Any other day the dogs would have won hands down :), but considering that the subject should be stationary, the matter was soon settled. The sky was too bright, so I used the .9 GND Lee filter to tone it down, that also brought some colors. I probably should have used the .6 instead, but we were out of time. Anyways I still managed to go to the motel with something.
