KIDS GIVE TO KIDS – a Culture interest event taking place on 2017-05-28 13:00:00 in United States
This is the charity concert. All proceeds from this event will go to help children receiving treatment for cancer at The Colorado Children's Hospital.WHAT TO EXPECT At this concert, you will enjoy the music, songs, and dance of cultures from all over the world, as well as compositions of the sports aerobics and rhythmic gymnastics.You will discover the new world of American and European piano and bayan players, dancers, singers, gymnasts, and performers of The Science, Art, and Sports Center for Children, Young Voices of Colorado, the Classical Ballet of Colorado, and other very talented soloists performing for this charity event. THE HISTORY AND OUR APPROACH Earlier this year, we came up with the idea of organizing an additional performance, besides our annual showcase, and donating all of the profits to the Cancer Clinic at the Children’s Hospital. We strongly believe in the importance of teaching our children to be grateful for what they have and to be compassionate towards those not as lucky. We hope that this concert will help instill the spirit of giving and the importance of charity in all of our students. We have approached the students with this idea, and they have been very responsive towards it! They are excited that, although they are young, there is still something they can do to help less fortunate children, whose lives are in jeopardy! Therefore, we are asking you to spread the word to your families, friends and neighbors, and to invite them to be part of this incredible effort by our students. We named this concert “KIDS GIVE TO KIDS”. Thank you very much for supporting this idea! ==========================================================================ABOUT OUR CENTER The Science, Art, and Sports Center for Children, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1993. We offer a safe, educational after-school program, designed to provide essential enrichment services, which are not being provided by the Public School system to children. Our philosophy is based on involving children in programs that will excite them about learning. All classes are taught by highly professional teachers and coaches. Our classes are taught in Russian but all the Teachers are bi-lingual and are able to communicate with English-speaking students. The Science, Art, and Sports Center for Children works with its sponsors to provide a quality learning experience for all the children enrolled in our programs. We appreciate the consistent time and classroom commitment the Jewish Community Center is willing to make which is so important for the smooth operation of The Science, Art, and Sports Center for Children. We have over 200 participants spanning the ages of 3 to 18. With parents and other volunteers, we have an organization that our community can be proud of!
