JOHN STANO is an award winning singer songwriter and engaging performer of Americana, Blues, Folk and Contemporary Acoustic music. The trademark of his sound is a distinctive blend of acoustic and slide guitar, harmonica and expressive vocals, developed over many years of performance and study. ‘Sing Out compared John’s music to early Bob Dylan while ‘Dirty Linen’ was reminded of Country Joe McDonald. He sometimes adds a little mandolin or cigar box guitar to the mix as well. KAIA FOWLER's music draws from the rich traditions of original folk, acoustic blues, and roots music. Her sound blends powerfully resonant vocals reminiscent of singers like Carole King, Joan Baez, and Joni Mitchell with her polished guitar arrangements that range from tender finger style to percussive strumming. Kaia took up guitar playing and songwriting at a young age, and, throughout her life, she has poured her observations on life’s struggles, longings, joys, and sorrows into song.
