The World Cup 2010 saw the debut of the "spidercam" camera. Here at Soccer City during the game Uruguay – Ghana while it was on top of the Uruguayan fans.
It can be pulled back and forth at high speed through its tension cable structure. It can go up 20 meters above the field and can broadcast scenes never seen before, getting close to any spot inside the stadium.
