Christian, softyellow, large and very double, sturdy, and floriferous; Queenof the Begonias, orange-yellow, of large size, gi*eat substance,and sjdendid habit. BEHNIA (a commemorative name). Stns. Didyojpsis, Bylonome. Okd. Liliaceae. A monotypie genus. The species is a greenhouse climber, with the habit of Myrsiphylliua (which see for culture.) B, reticulata (not-veined). Ji. greenish, jin. long, in simple or slightly compound cymes from the axils of the upper leaves. I. alternate, sessile, ovate, acute, rounded at base, 2in. to 3in. long, firm, green, glossy, with a distinct midrib, and five to seven strongly-marked vertical veins on each side, connected by close cross-veinlets (these have a beautiful effect when the leaves are dried).
