Ilya Itin – a Culture interest event taking place on 2020-03-22 17:00:00 in United States
Acclaimed Russian Pianist Ilya Itin
Just how prolific a pianist is Ilya Itin? Well, he once took part in a Russian music marathon, where he played all 24 of Rachmaninoff’s preludes in one sitting — followed by a couple of Prokofiev’s piano sonatas as a cooldown. Compared to that massive undertaking, this program featuring fellow Russians Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky is just a pleasant musical jog.
