Stellenbosch, May 2021 – The world’s best Freeride mountain bikers are back in town to take part in the annual DarkFEST event. The elite MTB media week only invites the top riders that are capable of riding the colossal course and representing nations from all over the world.
DarkFEST is designed and run by the riders, highlighting the world’s best freeriders riding the biggest jumps, not seen anywhere else on the planet. The rider-voted awards are handed out following a week of jam-format riding and is always the most anticipated and engaging event in the Freeride calendar.
Young Stellenbosch rider and current downhill SA Junior Champ Ike Klaassen was on the track, testing some of the huge and notoriously scary jumps.
